Caleb is a sweet boy who was abandoned by his previous owners.  He was very emaciated when we found him.  

Caleb needs a kind, patient and quiet home to call his own.  We think he is around a year old.  Caleb was with a foster family for a few weeks and his foster mother has this to say about him:

"[Caleb] is friendly, playful and fearless of other cats -- because he LOVES other cats.  He is still shy of people, needing a gentle reassurance of peacefulness each time before he allows petting, but he has learned to be gentle with claws and teeth in showing his abundant love. And he still prefers not to be held.  He still purrs up a storm and has taken to the home life...he is not one for cages and has taken to roaming our basement.  He likes being king of the house and would be the perfect companion to a quiet elder or couple, preferably with friendly cat pals or who plan to adopt a couple fur folk."
