Helen is a very very sweet kitty, probably about two years old, who, with her two kittens, was rescued from a high-kill shelter. She adopted two orphaned kittens who have blended quite nicely into her brood. Now all the kittens have been adopted and she is the only one left!

A description from her former foster:

Helen: Talk about good-natured cats! Helen has no problem letting my six year daughter pick her up and carry her around the basement. My eight year old son is intrigued by the way she "mothers" him, gently insisting that he stay still while she licks the back of his hand. She is perfect for a family with kids (but probably not other pets). Helen clearly lived with a family before her homeless stint, and she really derserves to find someone who can give her a loving, safe and permanent home."
