From foster mom:

"These two sweet cats were left in a box at a bus stop in Reisterstown on Monday. Amazingly, they didn't get scared and run away -- they sat right in that box and patiently waited for someone to rescue them. A good samaritan picked them up and took them (purring the whole way) to a local vet, and I'm now fostering them....

I'm calling them Jack and Jill. (Jack... in the box. Get it? ;) They are about a year old. Jack is a longhaired brown tabby and white male with a big poufy tail, about 8.5 lbs. And Jill is a shorthaired brown tabby female with just a little bit of white, about 7 lbs."

"These two are definitely a couple -- they're constantly rubbing on and grooming each other -- so they need to find a new home together. They are both very friendly and outgoing, although somewhat bewildered at what has happened to them. They would very much like to get settled in a new home together with a new loving family!"

All of our cats are altered, are negative for Feline Leukemia, have been treated for parasites, are microchipped, and have received all standard vaccinations before adoption.
