Annika

May 2008

Little Annika was abandoned by her mother probably because she had a whole lot of problems.  She was a fighter and survived for many days after being abandoned due to the efforts of some very caring people.

Everyone tried their hardest but little Annika just didn't make it.  She passed away on May 29th, 2008.  Rest in peace, little one.  You are remembered.

Ursula

Unknown - December 7th, 2007

I'm so sorry things had to end this way.  You were such a sweet kitty, Ursula, and you deserved a wonderful home.

I wish you could understand why things had to be this way.  I will always remember you.  Rest in peace.

Rose

Summer 2007 - November 16, 2007

What happened to you, Rose?  One minute you were playing, and the next you were fading..  I am so sorry that this happened to you, sweetheart.  You deserved a wonderful life.

Rose, you were the sweetest thing that ever stepped foot on this planet.  Maybe that is why you couldn't stay very long.  We loved you, Rose.

Goodbye, Rose.  I know the world you are in is better than the one into which you were born.  May you rest in happiness, peace and light.

Piper

Spring 2007 - October 23, 2007

Piper was a very sweet little kitten who was on her way to finding a forever home when she succumbed to a very serious systemic infection and passed away despite the best efforts of everyone involved.

Piper was so affectionate, so friendly, and far too young to die.  We miss her very much but take comfort knowing that she is in a better place.  We did everything humanly possible for her but it wasn't enough.

She should have lived a long and happy life.  That was taken from her.

We hope that the time Piper spent in our home was enjoyable for her.  We are so sorry it had to end this way.

Rest in peace, little one.  You were too good for this world.

Boo

Boo lived a long and happy life and truly brought light into the lives of her caretakers.  She is dearly missed.

A big thank you to Boo's guardian who helped us get our microchip scanner.  Here's to Boo and her wonderful family.

Thank you for helping us help other kitties.
